I love that feeling. The feeling of sitting in a bus or an airplane or a train for long hours. I get lost in the journey. The mountains are always calling me and I feel at home in the mountains. The beaches and sunsets make me alive. The cities pull me into their arms and I can roam around randomly in any city all day long. I have been bitten by the outdoors and wanderlust. And by the romanticism of solo travel. Travel makes me happy.
I was born and brought up in Mysore in Southern India. I currently call San Francisco my home and work as a software engineer by the day. While I am not traveling, I love to explore the sights and tastes that vibrant San Francisco has to offer, do yoga, read, take pictures and acquire some skills that can help me leave my 9-5 job one day 😉
Favorite destination so far: All of them but on the top is Peru.
Dream destination: Patagonia, Chile and Argentina.
Some quirks: You will never see me without big, flashy earrings. I can never travel light. It’s hard for me to relax while traveling because I want to see it all. So far, I have traveled to around 15 national parks in the USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Europe, Peru and bits of some other countries. However, I haven’t traveled much in India.
I have a split personality, one that is quiet, awkward and borderline boring, one that is a party animal, wild and borderline crazy.
